Kay Ross, Founder of Owl Echo Entertainment.
Kay is a dynamic storyteller and industry advocate known for empowering creatives. She launched her career in Washington, D.C.'s vibrant theater scene, working with acclaimed venues like Signature Theatre, Source Theatre, and Woolly Mammoth. Her love for storytelling led her to television and eventually to Los Angeles, where she now writes and directs narrative projects.
For over five years, Kay served as Stage 32’s Community Manager, Writers' Room Producer, and co-host of The Coverage Report, guiding writers, building industry connections, and creating educational content for a global creative community. Her nearly one hundred blogs on networking, filmmaking, and screenwriting reflect her dedication to helping others succeed.
As the creator of #StoryMath™, Kay developed a method that applies mathematical principles to storytelling, helping hundreds of writers transform their ideas into award-winning, financed screenplays. Her approach goes beyond notes—she provides actionable, achievable plans that inspire creative growth.
